The name 八四庵 (YASHIAN) is inspired by 八万四千, a Buddhist expression suggesting countless possibilities, and 庵 (an), meaning a quiet space.

A continuous flow with no beginning and no end.

Born and raised in Japan, Yoko moved to the UK in 2000 to study Art.
